Preparation work, delivered under your firm's name.

You keep the client relationship, the review, and the sign-off. We prepare the file that sits underneath it.

What we prepare

Bookkeeping — QuickBooks Online and Desktop

Monthly or as-needed transaction processing, reconciliations, and clean-up work. The chart of accounts is mapped to GIFI codes at setup, so the books are already speaking the language of the return before anyone starts reviewing.

Year-end compilation working papers

Working paper files prepared to CSRS 4200 standard and structured for a fast partner review — leadsheets, supporting schedules, and a clear trail from trial balance to financial statement.

T2 corporate tax return preparation

Corporate returns prepared and ready for your final review and filing. Because the chart of accounts is already GIFI-mapped, the schedules reconcile to the books without a reclassification exercise first.

GST/HST reasonability

A working paper separating transactions that carry GST/HST from those that don't, so the exposure is visible during the year rather than discovered at year-end.

What we don't do

We don't sign, review, or issue anything. We don't hold the engagement, and we don't contact your clients. Assurance work, independence judgments, and every professional decision stay entirely with your firm — where they belong.

How engagements usually start

Most firms start with two or three files rather than a block of work. It's the cheapest way for you to see the actual output and the turnaround before committing anything further, and it means we're earning volume rather than assuming it.

Capacity is deliberately limited while the practice is small. If a volume of work is more than can be delivered at full quality, we'll say so rather than take it on and stretch.

Common questions

What does "outsourced accounting" actually mean for my firm?

It means preparation work — bookkeeping, compilation files, T2 returns — is done outside your office, but everything else stays exactly where it is. Your firm's name is on the file, your firm reviews it, and your firm signs it. Clients never see anything change.

Can compilation engagement preparation legally be outsourced?

Yes. Preparation is not the engagement. As long as your firm performs the review, issues the compilation report, and maintains client confidentiality throughout, the underlying preparation work can be done externally — which is exactly what this site describes.

How is client data protected?

Signed confidentiality agreements, access limited to the active file only, and work performed on your own systems wherever your setup allows it. The full breakdown is on the How We Work page — worth reading in detail before you send anything.

What does this cost?

Every engagement is scoped and priced in writing before work starts — there's no hourly meter running in the background. The honest answer is that price depends on file complexity and volume, which is exactly why the first conversation starts with your actual files, not a rate card.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. Most firms start with two or three files specifically so they can judge the output before deciding on anything larger. That's a deliberate choice, not a sales tactic — see Why Us for the reasoning behind it.

Which software do you work in?

QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Xero for bookkeeping; CaseWare for year-end working papers; Intuit ProFile for T2 preparation. If your firm's stack differs, that's worth discussing directly — the work adapts to your systems, not the other way around.

Can this help with tax season capacity specifically?

That's the most common reason firms reach out. Compilation and T2 volume both spike hard at year-end and in tax season — preparation support here lets a firm absorb that spike without a permanent hire for a few peak months.

Who actually prepares the files?

Gaurav Aggarwal, personally, on every file — not a rotating team, not junior staff. That's covered in full on the About page. It's a deliberate trade-off: less capacity today, in exchange for one accountable person on every engagement.

How do we actually start?

Send an email with the kind of work you're considering and roughly how many files. From there: a short call, a written scope and turnaround for two or three files, and a mutual NDA in place before anything moves. Details are on the Contact page.

Start with two or three files.

No minimum commitment. See how the work holds up before deciding on anything more.
